Default maybe a stupid question

Everytime I take the wife to the casinos when we cross over the bridge at lake charles I always wonder if anyone fishes there and where can you fish if I wanted to pull over and wet a line.
thanks

Take you a pole and when you cross throw it out and troll to the other side - I don't know, it used to work on the Sabine 30+ years ago . . . . LOL . . . good luck in your quest!

Kenny, the better fishing is under the 210 in the fall and spring IF we don't get too
much rain. Wet fall and cold winter = no trouts

To answer your question.......sometime fishing is good out in the middle of Lake Charles. Usually there will be gulls showing where the fish [trout or reds] but sometimes I have seen where fish are chasing shrimp and no gulls around.

Here is a picture where the gulls were everywhere. I caught several drag stripping fish that morning. Unfortunately they were sail cats. But there were some trout mixed in.

July 4th weekend, there were birds working around the old Players Casino parking garage late in the day. Lots of birds.
