Started a little slow for me today. Found a few trout at my third stop. Picked at them for a while. Bite finally died around 10. Made a move and hit them good. How many fish would you say you missed compared to how many you caught? I threw TW for a while this morning but they would not eat it. They'd slap at it and knock it around but couldn't get a decent hookup. Does color and size effect it that much?

It can at times. If they are just slapping it, I usually downsize baits.

I probably had 50+ strikes for those 15 trout. As far as baits and colors, I've found that sometimes they will want a different color when the sun gets bright. Today, I used a clown Zara, pink skitter, and white skitter. White was best today. One more thing, today, when I was chasing bait, the trout were smaller and slapping it. When on a reef, they were EATING it.
