Default Finally got one!

Been wanting to get a kayak for a while now, and finally freed up the funds to do it. Pack and Paddle hooked me up right with a used Wilderness Systems Ride 135 for a great price. Came pretty rigged up including a fish finder. Can't wait to get it on the water! Me and some buddies have a trip planned to go down the Devils River on a 4 day trip in March.

Nice, it won't be long before I get a yak. The only thing holding me back is people to fish with and my schedule. Most of my days off are during the week.

The fishing was what sealed the deal for me, they have smallmouth bass and I haven't caught one yet. I'll post a full report when we get back

That's the prettiest place I ever fished, we fished a few places where there would be 100+ft cliff walls the went down to the water and you could see it continue down under the water. My buddy lost a DD22 in 20'+ water and it looked like you could have reached over and grabbed it plus sight fishing was nuts.... awesome place that will make you want to stay longer
