Default Vbay 11/13

Gotta go to know they aren't biting? Knew condition were crap but had to go. Water was muddy everywhere except Shark Bayou. Tide was out water level was waaay down. Windy as heck but it was still fun!

Lost the first 3 trout at the boat. finally caught 2 and a few puppy drum in and around shark Bayou.

Went scout, word to the wise, don't go through Bayou Garrett at a real low tide. hit something and almost ran out of water. (I knew it was risky but did it anyway.) on the way back we went up to Bayou Carlin to get back in weeks bay. there was a boat at least 5 foot up on a mud flat, 3 guys onboard, couldn't get within 100 yards of them, but they said the SO was coming in an airboat.

Made the turn into weeks on the north east side and started running out of water. Trim and nailed it.

Same forecast for tomorrow so if you go stay in deeper well known areas.

Talked to some fellas at the landing and they actually did good on reds and cats in the bayous.

Yeah, didn't go that way since the forecast called for NE winds which turned out to be East winds. Also didn't want to make the jump to Marsh Island. The run between the point and the Island gets rough when there is a strong wind and tide.
