Default Pond Fishing today

Well since the ole truck is totalled and I cant go anywhere I decided to walk the 3/4 mile to the pond nearest to my home and try my luck.

I have poured some of my own plastics and wanted to try some of them out.

I first threw a black n red worm more like a saltwater fluke bait and didnt get any takers for about 25 casts then I caught a small bass may be a pound if I added some egg sinkers to him.

Released this monster and changed to a punkinseed color and rigged it wacky style and on the first cast caught a pound and halfer--makin progress!

Released this one and made bout 10 more casts and caught a sacalait that was bigger n both the bass together!! Never saw that comin!!

Changed to a swim bait that I make I call a Salt Shaker and threw it and caught a couple more dinks.

Bout 1:30 was gettin ready to head back and cast next to a cypress knee barely sticking outta the water and got lucky with a 4lber!!

At least I had enough too cook for lunch!!

Not bad considering I didnt think I would get a bite!!

Sorry no pics. My phone has a camera but I dont know how to use it ! lol
