1. Length -- 6'6, 6'8, 6'10, 7'0, (larger please specify)
2. Action -- UL, L, ML, M, MH, H
3. Grip -- Foam, Cork
4. Grip Style -- Split, Full

1) 6'10-7'0
2) Medium Rod with FAST tip
3) Foam
4) Split
5) Prefer 7" but most Rod manufactures make 11"
6) I like Grey or Black rod, colors get to busy for me.
7) Darke Grey
8) The name and model and the spec info thats it

Just got me a Shimano Cumulus not long ago that to me is my perfect rod, colors, action, and everything works with me!

1- 7'
2- ML for plastics, Med/fast for top
3- cork, but i'm coming around to foam
4- split grip with reel seat screw on back or protected on front. i dont like an exposed reel seat screw.
5- med-long length grip for leverage during casting and catching.
6- i dont like bright rods, i find them distracting. black or grey is my prefrence.
7- grey, g-loomis
8- brand name, model, length, action and taper only. i really dislike the 'labeling' that many manufacturers have adopted in the last few years. many people can be confused and think that a rod labeled "crankbait" can only be used for cranks and nothing else.

i've been using g-loomis for several years now because the sensitivity is incredible. but i did play with a laguna rod recently and it was extremely sensitive and VERY impressive.

7 ft med/light fast tip full cork Stick Em Rod. For the money you can't beat these rods.

I find the stick'em rods to be heavy. Especially for top water.

Quick question about foam grips: How do they compare to cork when hands are a little wet or if hands have a little fish slime on them.

I do. Sometimes I forget the towel. I was wondering if foam grips had a better surface vs cork in slick conditions.

I haven't really noticed a difference in the slippery/sliminess. I think only Velcro would work!!

7. Favorite color Pole.
8. What would you want on your rod???
1.7ft
2. MH for most apps, I like a H for fishing frog in grass, jig or punching.
3. Foam
4. split
5. medium
6. the color of the rod doesn't determine if a fish bites the lure or not, but I rather a masculine color.
7. grey or black
8. good titanium guides that are wrapped from top and bottom instead of just the bottom, they last longer and don't bend out of position, also the titanium guides don't have a ceramic insert that shatters leaving an abrasive metal edge that cuts your line on a hook set or as you reel in.

6. Yellow is the most hideous (sp?)... too much flash and looks like a banana
