Default On the beach....

Not sure what the deal was but my buddy just told me that they spent the whole weekend out on Holly beach fishing the rocks and the ship channel. He says they fished it pretty hard for two days and they trout just were not there. He caught one trout and a few hard heads. Says the water was chocolate milk and the the winds were around 15mph but the ship channel was a little clearer. Not sure what they were fishing, I know he likes to use top dogs and the top dog jr. Thought it would have been a good weekend. I head that it was nice and calm out there Friday.

I was at the Cameron Fishing Festival Saturday morning til about 12 and the Ship Chanell was beautiful.....slick and green, I would have thought the beach looked good. Wanted to fish pretty bad but I was there for my daughter to be in the pageant.

Yea I X2 that....fished the ship channel yesterday for 9 straight hours and only caught 9 trout....the worst thing was out of the 9 only one was over 12.
The water was beautiful and bait was everywhere....dont understand it at all.
