Default Big Lake 8-15-11

Launched at the south end of Big Lake around 6am and ran north. Got to the first spot and instantly two nice trout. Right about that time a boat pulls up and trolled between us and the bank which was about 100ft away. Well there went the bite. They proceeded to troll in and out several times. Since they were in casting distance I casted next to them a couple times and they finally left. After all the noise was gone we began to pick up some more trout. We then went find a few more before getting out of the heat. I believe the Redfish in the picture is about 20inches or so... just for reference[ By no means do I want this to become a bashing thread, Just want to educate that person if they happen to read this] Please no bashing, I am just venting...Thanks

It amazes me how close Big Lake anglers will get to another boat. Such attitudes would not be tolerated in other areas of the state.

Well the Red was just slapped on the measuring board real quick to make sure he was in my prime eating range and then into the box. My buddy caught that doormat and yes it was pretty big. The smallest trout in the photo was 13.5 inches if that helps.
