The ones for a crawfish boat cull table I've seen are either pvc pipe screwed to boards or box tubing, or welded out of aluminum. Space them far enough apart for little ones to fall through but the big ones to stay on top. I had made one for my crawfish boat and used 1/2" pvc pipe. Guess with a little engineering you could make something like that work for skrimps.

I know that when I am throwing a cast net I use bigger mesh netting so I dont catch the small ones might want to change the mesh size on your bag so the smaller ones go out of the bag.
