Default V Bay 8/4/14

Made a last minute yak trip to the point this morning. Caught my limit of reds and a flounder on voodoo shrimp under a popping cork. Also lost 2 other reds and a flounder at the boat. Fished from about 730 to 1030.

If ya always wait on a good report you'll miss a lot of good fishing. Gotta go to know. The more your out there you can learn what conditions are favorable and what aren't. Then you'll be the one posting the reports for the office fisherman.

Very good point. I have little to know knowledge on inshore saltwater fishing. Especially out of a kayak. Living in Lafayette vermillion bay is the closest place I can get to saltwater.
