I recently got my hands on an older Italian Mauser 6.5 caliber. Need to find ammo but don't know what size rounds. Any help?

Cabelas and Gander Mountain handles that type of stuff or search the net, you will find it in surplus brands instead of common brands

Quick search came up with Swedish Mauser 6.5

Hmm don't think you want those lol...sounds like it is 6.5x52 like weedeater said. The link I posted above came up when I googled "Italian Mauser 6.5 ammo". All the results were for Swedish Mauser 6.5

All my searches came up the same thing. It's an old gun passed down from generation to generation. Really want to shoot it though.

Use to be able to buy it in bulk for super cheap but the guns are flooding market so ammo has gone up.... I have one and its dead on and blows fire like crazy plus it shoots a 200grain bullet so it will rip up anything you shoot
