Default Heading up to Caney next weekend to fish the rain...

What kind of shoes does everybody wear with rain gear to keep your feet dry (other than rubber boots) ? I'm not going barefoot or wearing flip flops even though it'll 80+, I don't like my feet being wet all day. I ordered the new frabill F1 jacket and bib just trying to figure out the best footwear to bring.

The deer lease I'm in has creeks that drain into caney....talked to an old timer that has lived in the area his whole life today. He said he never seen this much water, our lease has 6 foot of water in some spots. All that red dirt gunna drain straight into caney.

Just some advice, I lived 15 minutes from Caney for 8 years and fished it religiously. You have a better chance of catching a great white shark than bass or white perch. It just sucks too because this time of year the big bream are getting on beds.

They have gotten around 20" of rain.
