Wanted to get this posted before heading out the door for a camping trip planned by my wife. Went looking for some reds yesterday morning and it had to be a quick trip because I’m on the night rotation. I headed out to Ray’s hole because it always holds reds and found some stripers I think is what I was told they were. I think I found a nest cause it was one after the other. I then moved to my spot for reds and found some but they were all to big for the grill. I find the 17 to 19 inch reds do the best I ended up keeping two that were 22. The one in the pictures was the average size I was catching he was the biggest going 26.5 inches and a little over 9.5 lbs. All fish were caught on glow chart wedge tail mullet on a 1/4 oz. jig head and a TKO shrimp under a Bang Time Cork which has finally broken on me. (Hint to jchief)

Went made a quick trip this morning with a partner from work before heading out ended up finding some trout action quick and didn’t have to go that far. Got on some trout just outside of Turners under some birds and it was quick. It would have been a lot quicker if I would have had a Bang Time Cork(Another hint to jchief). Also used was a glow/chart jerk jr on one of them yellow mouth jig heads. The flounder were on a pink in color swim mullet on a 1/8 oz yellow mouth jig head along the channel to Turners. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend and I hope the info helps. Also can not leave out them great peeps at The Tackle Box for doing the outfitting.

i'm not sure if thats a striper, I think it is a hybrid(not sure) which is pretty friggin close to a striper. Anyways I bet that was a surprise once you got to the boat lol

Awesome catch. 1fastmerc is believed to be right those are hybrids because of the broken stripes
