Eek Nice Boat

Custom made Gravois hull. 800 gallons of fuel and they expect it to top out between 75-80mph. It is a prototype for the homeland security out of Grand Isle.

Going that fast......I would think the edges on the T-top should be more rounded to cut down on drag.

Is that some kind of "cut out" on the hull above the tires?

The seats look like something you would see in a airplane.

What exactly do the notches on the bottom of the hull do? I saw this on another boat the other day. I'm sure it's a performance issue, but what excactly? anyone know?

Stepped Hull, boat is designed to run on that portion for the hull for peak preformance. It's a badazz design for sure, most of the offshore racing boats use the same type hull and I believe Contender,Fountain, ect.

They build very well made boats indeed. I have worked on a few and they are built to last for sure.

Cut out above the tires is a rescue door.
