Default Cajun Sleigh Ride

Took the yaks out this morning with SaltEredneck, Keith Thibodeaux and another buddy of mine to hook into some reds out in the marsh. Ended up with these 6. Should have had more but the bait was so THICK it was hard to get them on plastics. I hooked one that went about 30" and she dragged my butt around for about 10 minutes...talk about fun!!!!

Nice catch! What kind of yak do you have? Looks like it was a blast hauling in that big red. Can't imagine one pulling me around like that.

oh buddy it was fun... before daylight the reds were busting shad topwater. bait was coming a foot or two outta the water... first cast and i hooked into a 7lb red. it trolled me around for about 5 min or so. Marsh boy fought that biggun for about 10-15 min. The shad were soo thick it was hard to compete.
