Default "Speck-tacular" day out of the Burnt out Bridge

Hit the normal haunts a little later than normal to no avail... Where I caught bass last Wednesday, there was nothing... Flipped, pitched, cranked, trapped, DOA'ed, craw-wormed and nothing...

Moved back south towards the mouth of the BOB canal and picked up an undersized speck... Threw again, letting it sink more, and got on some better specks... Finally, before the weather ran me off, got on a good bite of quality thick specks fishing S L O W ... Crazy, stupid, beyond insane, S L O W...

Kept these five for dinner tonite...

Disclaimer: Fish shown in picture were not measured or weighed...They were not caught on live bait or beneath a "popping cork" (not that there is anything wrong with that). Fish were harvested by a "office fisherman" out of an aluminum boat using "non-custom" rods and reels... Fisherman is NOT sponsored by any bait, boat, or rod manufacturers, he simply likes to fish... At no time was the "fisherman" trying to show off any "skillz" by catching these trout, he simply likes the way they fry up...
