Engineered Wood Flooring - Float or Glue?
I'm replacing carpet with 3/8" engineered wood in my bedrooms and am debating on whether to glue it to the concrete or float it. Also debating on whether to do it myself or pay someone $1.75-$2.00/sqft.
If I do it myself it should be much easier to float, but is is it worth it? Should glue down myself, or just pay someone to glue it? Should I float it myself or just pay someone to float it? I don't like the hollow feel of a floating floor, but don't know if potential buyers will care. And at least with a floating floor they can replace it much easier if they don't like it. |
