A buddy of mine gave me a couple buffs as gifts a while back. I never wore them before then but I usually keep one on if I'm wearing a shirt without a collar. It's nice to wear around your neck to keep the sun off you. They also keep the cold wind off your face on boat rides. A cut shirt sleeve could do the same job but buffs aren't the worst invention ever. Not to mention that the trout are unable to identify me before I raid their homes.

I actually like the grab it glove. My wife will not touch a fish with her bare hands but will use the glove and unhook most of her own fish while wearing it. She don't like getting finned. Works for me.

I wear'em to cover up my neck and when I'm wearing a hat to cover the back of my head. It's not about being a ***** or blending in with surroundings, its about skin protection. Would rather take preventative measures now instead of pay for it later in life.

Huh I can't say n I n j a

I use mine in the winter and early spring when the knats are out. And for cold days. They work well. But I could make my own for sure.
