Default BL 6/5/14

It's unusual for me to get on the lake during the week. Today was an exception. It was nice. Took a couple stops to find them. Had to weed through a few dinks but it was all good. Limit by 9:30. Lil Jons and matrix shad. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402020819.845328.jpg

Chasing bait, mid lake, caught this.

One heck of a fight.

Nice catch! Chasing Birds? I went on Wednesday and ended up finding refish on the riprap in the ship channel. Live bait.

Actually, water was not great, mid lake. But there were pods of bait and that Jack was under one of them.

Lil John is the lead bait with a spinner on the back?

Are they that much better than all of the other baits that are very much the same?

It's a very productive plastic bait. Work one in a pool and you will see why. Super erratic action. Totally different concept from the traditional cocahoe plastic that I grew up throwing in VB.

Opening Night and Pink Silver have worked great for me in the past.
