Default The Bend June full moon

Went to the Bend to fish the full moon. What is up with all this wind again?

Only able to fish the main lake a couple of nights. The bite was slow for me and several other boats I talked to. Seemed like the fish prefferred a 6" or 8" worm over 11" or bigger.

Best night I caught 12 with 6 being keepers. Did manage to land my biggest yet. Boga showed it just under 8 1/2 lbs.

Nice fish. The wind needs to lay back down.

Thanks guys. Plan on spending some time up there the next full moon if the wind ain't blowing too bad. July 15 I beleive.

If anyone else is up there give me a holler. I have a camp at Buckeye, next to Big Bass.

WARNING: I hit some stumps this last trip where I have been a thousand times and did not hit any. BE CAREFUL

Nice fish Chief!
Nothing like sticking a good fish at night, you set the hook & they break the water you're mind goes a 100 miles an hour!
