Yesterday while fishing south of Cameron I saw a 23-25 foot center console coming in with 4 fishermen -- 3 on the bow and 1 driving. Looked back and saw the starboard side engine tilted all the way up.
That is a tough day to have on the water. I have been there before out 30 miles and lost an engine on my 27 Grady in 3-4 foot seas and could not get on plane until we got to the jetties and had all men up on the bow, trim tabs fully deployed down and then we barely gut up. A long ride back to Hebert's landing!
