Default HAHA!!!

Yeah Stealth! That's sounds like a dang good plan! Hell we could tie all the "Aluminators" together and make like a barge w/ an arse load of 25hp motors!
[Stealth, you think you could twist the ole ladies arm for a tuna trip next Thursday?]

Here's an idea! (Time share) 36ft Sailfish for the site! Site sponsored and everyone here splits time and costs!

Default Big Lake afternoon report

Got out there and after first stop on East bank produced a few topwater blowups, winds decide to start kicking so headed south. Worked reefs on southend coming up with one or so here and there but found no size as I haven't been able to scrounge up a pattern since getting battered for the McDonald's Tourny on Toledo. I succumbed to working birds on way in for 2 shy of a 2 person limit. Sorry no pics! There wasn't one fish in the chest worthy of taking up space on SD card!

Anyone on a good sized trout bite pattern feel free to pm me. Was on a pattern and got burnt out after spending every day possible on lake pre star and post till that dang old freshwater tourny sent me home drained. Been 3x this week all evenings 2pm till dark and banging all the spots, only to leave scratching my head! Pretty frustrating but I must prevail!

Wow Kahunaz, it would take some extra grande Kahunaz to even ask the ol lady about a tuna trip. (We are still in the hospital with a 2 day old kid) On the bright side I got the green light for a new duck lease. OHHH YEA!!

I talked to a couple of charters awhile back and for an offshore rig hopping trip for snapper, ling and some amberjack it was going to cost $800. That was for 5 or 6 people can't remember exactly. If there are a few of us that would like to go, I will put in the leg work to find an available charter. Now a Tuna trip would be fun, but that's a lot more expensive. Who's interested?

for 5 people, that would be $160 per head, right? Is that poles and all included? I don't own anything for offshore really. If that is the case, put me in. I'll need to do it soon though cuz 7-12s will be back on soon with turn-arounds.

Definitely COUNT ME IN! Week or weekend! Only thing is we have a tropical in the Gulf at the moment. MEAUX...Who are you chartering for 300 per person out of G I? Let me know.
Stealth, yeah i figured but doesn't hurt to ask. At least i'll get to hunt with ya on your new lease!
Well, its off to BIG LAKE

i can look into making one if there is enough interest or if it will possibly attract more offshore people.

I look into some charters and get some of their available dates and then get back to you guys. I assume it includes the rods as most folks don't own offshore stuff. I'll have to check to see if it includes fuel but probably not. We should probably try to do it two or three weeks out to give us enough time to get everything straight.

LAangler, I think an Offshore section is a really good idea.

Default off shore

some bottom trips include fuel as the capt knows he doesn't have to run an gun. But tuna/ blue water trips are cost + fuel as you may run 70 miles or you may run 200 miles.
grand isle / fourchon is probably the best jumping off point for all the west siders.
