Default Paddle Needed

I just bought a used kayak and plan to try out marsh fishing. I was just brousing kayak paddles and relaized they cost about as much as the kakak.

Any thoughts? Anyone have a used one to sell?

Thanks - LSUDAWG aka OATDAWG

I saw that boat for sale in a community news letter. You would be best served to just pony up the cash and buy a decent paddle. There are two things I will not go cheap on in kayak fishing, a good seat and a paddle. Bending branch makes an Angler Slice paddle that retails for about $125. Just buy it. It comes in 240 and 230 cm. Don't buy a cheap paddle you will regret it.

Check out the Backpacker in Br or Lafayette, or pack and paddle. They both carry this paddle.

It also makes a good push pole.

Thanks for the advice. I don't mind spending $120 for a good paddle. I do hesitate to spend $400 for a paddle. I'll look at backpacker and also do an online search.

Default sounds good - like that

I may store it out at the farm. You and 6.6mh are welcome to borrow it anytime.
