Speckled Trout Showdown!

For the 4th trip in a row, we've caught limits of trout down here in Dularge. On board today was Cary Haydel, Jeffrey Haydel, and Shannon Leblanc all from my hometown of Plaquemine, LA! To say the fishing is great is an understatement. I haven't seen a winter bite like this in almost 10 years. The fish are here in more numbers than you can ever imagine as they are biting in all the right places this year. Lake Decade is back to the prime speckled trout fishery that it once was as well as the usual inland marsh areas around upper and lower Dularge. Today was 50/50 corks and tightlned 1/4 oz. jigheads with the new Reflexion Lil Bammer in Pearl Melon (www.reflexionswimbaits.com). Despite the morning fog and extra running time, we still made it back to the dock today with 100 trout! I can say no more! Just get down here and get it while its hot!
