Default How is Big Lake doing?

Lately I have been fishing Dularge (the rigs). I took my son and his friend plus his dad last weekend and they (I was the deck hand) caught 30 nice trout all on bayou chubs in 1-1/2 hours. I had to leave early since the wind was staring to pick-up over 10mph (which is why I am doing a boat up-grade) Matter of fact my 9 year old which I set him up with a double rigs (LSU & Glow with chart tail) twice caught doubles. I never tied so many lines back together that day....they were casting on the rigs and so fourth. Plus my neighbor bought a new rod and reel from Academy and they put the string on it (Very big mistake) his line came untied like 5-6 times with a fish on the line in which I tired . I remember I had an extra spinning reel on my boat boat with real string (Berkley Big Game) and it was a big difference for him.
However, I would think Big Lake should be getting good if the wind stops somewhat.
