Feel very lucky. A friend of mine slung a blade about 2 years ago and slung it into his lower unit. Damaged it beyond repair too. Double ouch!

He probably didnt hit anything . the blade just flies off. Bad weld?? who knows.

Didnt hit a thing ,was running in the middle of the channel and ...poof, blade flings off. Got a crack in another blade too,so I was about to loose two of them . Beats all I ever saw ,I always thought powertech was good props .

Bad casting can cause it. Don't mean it was a bad prop, it happens. Should be replaced for no charge.
