Default It's a start...

By my rain gauge at Heberts we got almost 4" of rain this morning at Big Lake, winds were light after that massive storm blew through but it didn't take long for the wind machine to get kicking again, at least we got some rain though

Ha, you really just got to laugh at that one, it's just beating us to death! My home has no barriers around it, especially to the south and southeast, the marsh starts right behind the house so we get the full force of it. Tides are extremely high too, it's at the top of my bulk head at the boat slip, went ride down there a while ago and had to lift several boats higher, some where floating, I did see NE at 15 on Thursday, maybe that wind will straighten my landscaping back to an upright position!

FYI..........we got 2.75" rain up here in Moss Bluff. The Calcasieu river is up about a foot at the public launch here.

Storm blew through 2:45 to 4:30 AM with losts of lighting and 30+ (?) mph winds.

Lost elect. power just before 6 AM and it came back on 4 hours later.

Yep Chad, the tide was almost 2 feet above predicted. when that wind shifts, the tide is going to run out big time. Maybe it will flush out some of this fresh water. HaHa!
