Exclamation Series UPDATE!!!!

SFA has dropped the entry fee from $300 to $200 per team for the Pro Speck Series, to increase participation. This means that the payout will decrease.

Registration deadlline is April 3rd for Cocodrie and April 10th for Lake Charles.

The Empire stop set for May 22 & 23 has been canceled, due to lack of participation. We are setting up a stop in Fourchon for the fall, as we speak, to replace the Empire stop.

1st place is still $5,000 for a full field (150 boats) and $3,000 for 100 boats. Last place has gone up to $400, which is double your entry fee.
Overall payout is what has changed.

Can you post some clarifying info regarding rules:
  • Is there still a bonus for live trout of .5lbs per fish?
  • Since we can weigh dead fish, is the rule still no more than 5 fish in boat at once? If so, just trying to figure out how this is gonna work if we're not pushing to keep em alive. First 5 fish in the box would mean you are done...

Yes, bonus points are still in place. I'll have to get back with you on the other fish. I, myself, would say if you want to keep more, then don't let the tournament director know you have them. Also make sure there are no fish in your ice chest before launching because they will check ice chest, livewells, etc each morning. All fish weighed-in become property of the tournament so if you do keep some in your ice chest, take them back to the camp to eat.
