Default Big Lake 26th of July

Took my stock brokers kids out fishing yesterday before they had to go back to school.

This was a blast to have 3 young boys in a boat with hooks!!!!

All of them grew up fishing so that part was no problem.....The youngest was a beast.........He wanted to stay until dark and never leave!

Fished mostly reefs and hit a few small groups of birds! Birds fishing was a task! 3 lines out...2 lines tangled up!...lol

we caught a lot of fish but a lot of small ones and God knows how many lady fish!

Ended up with a good pile of trout and I only caught one or two..I let them fish and catch them all

Thunder Storms on and off pinned us down a few times so between dodging all that I call this a damn good trip

(Casey called me on the way back home and said I was wrong for making them boys fish with artificial all day)

I was out there yesterday too and saw two different funnel clouds just south of the jetties. We actually watched one come down from the clouds, start spinning, then it disapated. Neither of them reached the water but they definitely caught our eyes and made us keep tabs on them.

caught a pelican with Ross (longsidelandry) and Ray.

It was the coldest day i've been fishing with 15+ MPH winds and Ray forgot to put the plug in the boat. Someone has the pelican picture, i cant find it.
