Be careful in tree stands

Stand broke climbing up or down, not quite sure now, but that is when I decided I would no longer be untied from the tree. It really isn't that difficult to climb up and down with it attatched to the tree. Much more difficult to spend the rest of your days in a wheel chair I would think.

I worked with that guy, he is still paralyzed. I wear a harness now because of him, it's not that much of a hassle to climb with, like you said a real hassle would be spending your life in a wheelchair.

The real kicker is that he always, always wore his harness religously. But that one morning at red river he forgot it in the truck, got about a 1/2 mile in before he realized it and decided to climb without it just this one time.
