we killed a bunch of birds off the bayou in the back, and i also had a spot on the walk in side that was surounded by pot holes that we hunted on clear cold days and we'd kill a 3-4 man limit of mallards almost everytime we went.

I am 33, and just this year am going to try full lease hunting. I might revert to Sadomasochism and go back to Lackofsane or Sabine depending on how good/bad the leases are. Been hunting Sabine since the age of 16, so I can relate to Sulphite's comment. Had some really good hunts there. The saltwater intrusion, via Hurricane Rita was the death of the quality of that refuge. In my opinion anyway.

Sure someone will flash a report or two about some mallards and pintails. I can guarantee that the Mallards aren't as plentiful as they were pre- Hurricane Rita.

NO DOUBT ON THE LAST SENTENCE, BUT WHEN THEY WERE YOU WOULD LOOK UP AND SEE THIS.

If you boys head to Oklahoma, check out Greenheadguideservices.

What y'all should do is start in Canada and hunt them birds in every state till you get home. Then you would get your fix. Lol not all 50 states but from Canada straight down to LA.

Bucket list X2............I would have boudin, andouille and great smoked Louisiana sausage sent the whole way for gumbo and jambalaya and treat everyone.......of course this is when I become terribly rich of the Dinar.
