Default Gearbox leak

Fishing today I noticed a strange film on my dry box in the console. I just looked and it appears I have a gearbox leak behind the steering wheel. Is this something I can fix myself our am I better off taking it to a shop?

Is it coming from the fill cap behind the wheel ? They do sell seal kits for hydro. helms

I will check again looks like a split line leak but will look harder.
