Have you smacked that cross member halfway between your bunks and roller?

I don't think I have hit that cross member yet. There are no marks on it or on the keel of the boat.

No there is nothing there. My first thought when I tried to load the boat was that there needs to be something there, but the dealer assured me that there isn't one there on any other boat on his lot.

i have seen aluminum hulls start to bend over time when there is no support on that part of the trailer, it may not be the case with the bow support on the wench, but you do need to support more of the bottom of your boat, longer bunks that rise in the front or some sort of riser right there

Why only a single axel trailer? 22' boat should be on a tandem because of weight. What weight is the axel rated for? Then add the trailer and boat weight, and I'll bet the axel is overloaded.

Great advice! I'd add a "V" style roller That will attach to that cross over support near the front of trailer. This will start to raise the bow as soon as the boat slides on to the V roller. Dropping the bunk boards at the back of trailer will help but better to raise the front bunks to a higher angle.

That's a great question. I asked the very same question before I bought it. I was assured that it's the correct trailer for this boat.

That was my thought also. I texted pics to the owner of the trailer company a little while ago. I'm waiting to hear back from him now.

Also a concern I had addressed with the owner of the trailer company.

Nice boat !

Looks like you have 10' of unsupported hull there ... Bunks stretched out to past where your rake begins would help ...

You just don't have anything to ride up on ...

I gotta 20 ft express. Similar boat and trailer. I put the Teflon sides on my bunks and really helped a lot . When I launch alone I try to get boat close to dock so I can step on dock to finish winching up. Works for me!

I recently bought a new trailer for 21' Kenner Vision raised the boat bunks to where the sides of boat are actually higher than the top fenders. Boat loads and unload's like drive on trailer should without any assistance.I know 2 people here in LC that can diffently help u with your issue's.PM if needed.

Thanks guys. I heard back from the owner of the trailer company. He's gonna get back with me in the morning. He wanted to get with some of his designers, and let me know what the fix is. Pretty nice guy. He gave me his cell phone number, and we texted a while this afternoon.

X2. I had the same problem when I replace my trailer. You need more lift so raising the front bunks will give you more lift

I struggle with mine alone sometimes too. I have a double axle alum trailer and it actually FLOATS! What a PITA to load sometimes. If I'm by myself I just use another boat.
