Default Optimax Oil Near Lafayette

Anybody find a good place to buy Optimax oil near Lafayette. I buy the stuff online, because it's crazy expensive. I'd prefer to find a local place that sells it. Mike's Marine has it in bulk, but even with bringing your own container, they charge almost $50 per gallon.

And yes, it does make a difference for me to find it cheaper, since I'm running enough that I burn almost a gallon each weekend.

Academy has it for around $37 per gallon. Just make sure you get Optimax/DFI oil they have both kinds of Mercury oil

Yeh. If you order from Academy.com right now, the Quicksilver/Mercury Premium Plus is only 19.99 a gallon, with free shipping if you order 2.

The premium plus is the wrong oil for the Optimax. They use the DFI or Optimax oil. I buy mine at Academy

If you save your empty jugs you can go to Henderson Implement and Marine in Abbeville. You can buy it from bulk and save a few dollars. I think it is 34.00 a gallon plus tax for the optimax oil.

Default Opti oil

Last ones I bought where from Gulf Coast Boats on Banks street. Don't remember exact price but a lot cheaper than Academy at the time.

academy has been out for the last two weeks! We always try to keep a spare in the boat, but this past weekend we had only what was in the motor. I asked the manager if he could make sure he gets some in, and he said he has no control.. That kind of pissed me off.

BTW this is both academy's in lafayette

Did you find any ?? If not let me know.

I can get it for you right now for just under 30 per gallon. $79 for 2.64 gallon jug

It would be in Broussard and I would need about a week to get it in inventory.

Also have it in LC in needed.
