Default Calcasieu River

Stuck 15 or so today on Backwater Tackle Stik Bait, in the smaller and bigger size, june bug, and watermelon red/chart. Also caught a 3 lber on Backwater Tackle 10 inch worm, thought it was a red when it hit. Due to deep TroKar in him, I let him go immediatly..

Here's a few I brought home to take pics with, since I don't have time to take pics while on the water.. All the fish were between 11 inchers- and about 1 1/4 and the one that went 3..
Quantity over Quality was today.. Fun trip.

**Longcast the 3 was caught under your FIL's dock

No size on the fish today but a good trip for this weather.. Constantly dodge thunderstorms, but it felt good to have rain!

Those are the only showers we got. We couldn't even wet the concrete this morning.

We had several showers all day. Concrete stayed wet all day actually. Don't have a rain gauge but I'd be willing to bet we got close to an 3/4- 1 inch on the river.

Send some up to me tomorrow. It's only about a mile away. Shouldn't be to hard.

Couldn't believe how far the salt water was up the west fork.It finally sweetened up around Sam Houston park.Didn't see any shad schools on the main river.
