Default River 5/21/11

Fished sat. morning with saltEredneck and Keith thibodeaux in a little 4 man tourney. Fishing was far from great but Keith and myself pulled out the win with this fish he caught about mid-morning that went about 3.5lbs. Good times with some good friends.

SaltERedneck and I made a trip that afternoon to the white oak area hoping to get some revenge on their lack up cooperation that morning....didnt really end that way but Eddie caught one that went about 4lb 5oz. (bottom pic).

only bite and its a 4lb 5 oz bass... i will take it. All i know is that if it was a tourney longer than 3 hours i would have taken the money. She hit a crawfish colored crank bait.

Nice fish fellas! I was there also Saturday. I fished out of White Oak that morning. Topwater bite was good til about an hour after sun up. I then caught fish on Bass Kandi wacky worms and speed bugs in grn pumpkin magic. Most of my fish caught were off tree tops on secondary bank drops.

Thanks Rodbender... i think we would have done better early in white oak. WF wasnt producing except for a few topwater swells. couldnt get a bite on speedbugs or wacky worms later that afternoon.
