Default Nelson Road

Anyone caught any nice fish in the canal/marshes at the end of Nelson Road? Put the yak in yesterday...there was a baby gator(sure momma was around somewhere), mullet jumping in the boat, and shrimp...but got run off by the storm.

I know of people who catch fish there, but you have to find running water and clear water. I know somebody who duck hunts there and they bust their *** every year.

Well...the water definitely wasn't clear. I did see a couple of blinds but they looked like they hadn't been hunted out of in years.

Not to pull an old thread out of the archives, but I just moved back to the area. I use to go down there as a teenager, has it changed down there? To the point that yall are nervous to leave belongings alone? Any new reports of hunting those canals?
