Default Nice surprise

Went back home for the holidays to DFW area. My father has been living at the house where a mounted horse company keeps their horses. It is roughly 15 acres. Yesterday evening, I took a walk back in the wooded horse pen. Much to my surprise there was a pond in the middle, and had no clue it was there. Even better, counted 9 mallards with 5 drakes and 4 hens.

Of course as soon as I stood up after counting, they flew away. Got up this morning to see if they had came back, and sure enough they had. Also saw about 15 squirrels and could have had shots on 4 rabbits. I think tomorrow I will go set up early at the pond with a Ruger AirHawk, seeing as I am in the middle of the city and shotguns are not allowed to be fired.

Anyone use air rifles for small game? If so, what brand/shape of pellet do you use?

The reason i shoot match grade is they have better qc from the factory and they seem to shoot better. I have shot hollows and they have good knock down
