I fish many different presentations i use that jerking way at times. Can't hardly beat a low slow roll!

This technique works well when fishing an are w/ current . Throw up current and make sure your lure is on the bottom. twitch it up and keep a tight line as it falls .
Takes some practice to get it right as the current pushes the lure toward you as it's falling.
