Got to fish some yesterday and was convinced to give Top Waters an Honest Try.

Had fun, will probably throw tops more in the future

If anyone can figure out how those trout can make such a comotion jumping on a topwater bait and not getting a hook stuck in them, please let me know! I think fishing topwater for trout & redfish is incredible, but I just can't figure out how they don't get hooked!

Throw a topwater with 3 trebble hooks against the side of a steel tank and the hooks will get hung up.
Get hit by a trout and it gets away.
They must make a big splash but miss it all together.
