Hell to the g o t d a m n naaa!!! To risky For brother Willis Lol.
I heard the good and the BAD HORROR stories about that weir. People that went through there were fine no problems at all and other busted a hole in the side of their boat. If it was a rubber bumper i would go through it. Don't get me wrong I would try but the 1 thing thats stopping me is that chrome piece around the lip of the boat! The first time you (hit/slide against/bump) the sides of that weir it's coming off. On another note let me know how it goes if you decide to go through. It gets kind of scary when there is a big water level difference. |

Lookin at 110 inch of empty space is awesome but when you put a 96in wide boat in 110 all you have is 7 inch on each side of your boat to work with!!!! as you drive up to the weir those 110in starts to disappear very fast.

Think Skinny Thoughts
Lower your jackplate, trim motor in and tell everyone not to touch the sides.

It's easy to drive through just point nose in and stay on throttle

I've been back there with mine.
I did get a hair to close to the left of that gate after you get through the weirs and a piece of metal that sticks off the pillings put a nice scratch. Oh well adds character |

Just don't forget to remove your rods from the console. I have seen a few try it and not one was successful.

Negative, it would cause your boat to float up and crack the windshield. |

Went through in a friend's frontier. We took the windshield off before coming back out.

I have been through in my frontier 180. It has an 8' beam. No problems going in. The current wasn't bad. Coming out I forgot my poles in my rod holders. I just grabbed them and bent them back but i bumped the wall when i let go of the steering. Didn't even put a scratch on that stainless rub rail. Also watch your trolling motor head if it sticks out. One of my coworkers said he ripped the head off of his when he was guiding. Said he spent the rest of the day steering it with pliers. The main thing is if it goes bad let it go. You can repair a boat easier and cheaper than reattaching fingers.
