Default Big Lake evening trip 11/09/2010

Was sick as a dog with a sinus infection. Got tired of sitting in the house.
Loaded up my pockets with cough drops and napkins to blow my nose and hit Big Lake.
Hit reefs on the East side of the lake, friends hit 9 Mile and Washout. Not much at either place.
Talked Jsmoke into not going to Big Lake, he hit Lake Charles and the Saltwater Barrier.
Found some nice sized Trout on a reef between Turners and the wellheads. Caught 3 or 4 then
hit Turners when the birds started working.
Ended up with 15 Specks and 3 Sand Trout.

Sorry Jsmoke. Didn't know it would turn on after I told you they wasn't biting.

Caught on white and chartruese Jerk Jr's on 1/8 oz. jigheads. Didn't try anything else.
Winds were whipping out the South, water was not nice along the banks.
But was clear enough where it was deeper.
WHen the tide started moving the fish started biting.

Nice catch Mr. Ray, I'll bet that helped your sinuses feel better, or at least you didn't think about it for a while.

It didn't help with the sleep last night, neither did the half bottle of wine I had last night. But I love catching and eating fishs.
