Default Pine Island 11-18-12

Hard hunting today, but it was fun to see my 8 yr old in the blind again. He had a blast but he didn't know what was really being killed. Got 16 and the ain't pretty 5 teal, 4 spoons, 1 redhead, and the best blasting of the day 6 morganzas (really disappointing when you just get a high from dropping most of a flock). Anyways son had fun and that is what matters most.

couple birds not in pic, and after cleaning teal had to throw one, all of it insides were hard as a rock other than heart. I guess he had been through a rough few days. I knew it was wounded when I shot it, but i figured it was from this morning not a week ago.

Well they were better yesterday than today in our area. Only two birds came around us before 7 then it was far and few between.
