The back side of the island has become such a cluster, Yachts, Clubs, prime floundering territory has been filled in to fit more RV's, camps and Yacht slips. You can get a smoother run along the back side of Elmers Island which now extends all the way to the pass. I would start at the sand that has built up on the "land" side of the pass and then slip behind Elmers, same water, less cluster.
