could be alot of things. need more information. Was it under a bind when the wheels stopped spinning ?? Is it 4wd ?? Does the 4wd still work ? Might be the knuckle that connects the drive shaft to the rear end. I have a 2006 honday 500 foreman. I've broken that knuckle before.

More than likely it is the rear differential has gone out, the guys in Welsh right by Henderson Implement on the north side of I 10 are good and usually have rebuilt diff's on hand, they are the ones's you see going down I 10 and have 4 wheelers lined up in front of business, sorry can't think of their name

^^^that would be Russels ATV, on the 450's the u-joint at the output shaft goes sometimes but you will hear a lot of grinding and binding, if you didnt prolly the splines of the axle through the ring gear. Had this happen before.

Thanks guys I checked it out and it was the rear axle. Thanks for all the input. I found someone to change it out for $310.00 if this ever happens to anybody. Apparently it's farely common in honda ATV's
