Cool Lack of reports

have noticed a void of reports from a certain area south of lafayette and Abbeville where a certail fall trout run can be witnessed. a few reports were coming out the area, but now nothing the water has been beautiful that way for the last two weeks and 2 cool fronts have been upon us, i must say that one of the first things i learned when i moved down here is that if a cajun tells you the fish are biting, then you are at teh very least one week late and probably more like two Carry on, I am 'forced' to work over that way all next week and will keep the kayak in the back to test the water!

Gotcha

Plus you have to figure in global warming which equates to sea level rise, el nino and everything gw bush did in his 8 years of presidency that directly affected the trout in that area, i doubt they will bite til November there

Best month to fish vbay is november. That is when the 5+ specks move in. Im sure you can catch some in the bay now but they will mostly be small.
