Default Squirrel Infestation

Had the day off of work so I made a squirrel hunt with a buddy. Being in the woods for the first time this year felt awesome. It was a nice cool morning and the squirrels were moving. Only one squirrel stayed still for me to shoot the rest were haulin tail. What call y'all use to stop them suckers?

My favorite call to stop them is a 2 3/4 dove load or #6. Nice pile of squirrels

#4 is even better for early season when the leaves are thick. I'm not a fan of hunting them with a 22, but my shots are limited to a boat from a bayou. Maybe if I walk hunted the 22 would be pretty fun

Exactly. Couldn't see at least 4 of the ones I killed. Guy I was with had a shotgun and .22. I would definitely not leave the shotgun.

Nice mix of squirrels there. Very cool to see a black squirrel. I don't know if those are around up here. There is a town in Illinois that is famous for having white squirrels.

Nice pile of tree rats....man im hungry for a good gravy. I use my old .410 crack barrel early when the trees are still full of leaves. Bring out the .22 later,it is a blast sniping them, head shots only.

Nice pile of meat the there, and a good pic of a stinky black iron. We been hard pressed for squirrels on the bayou an the woods by my house plenty of acorns and food, all the squirrels I've killed by the house are cat squirrels and they look to be pups bc thy are tiny

Nice pile you got there...... it's been about 20 years I hadn't eaten any squirrel, I'll need to go get me some.

One time when I was young I killed one with a football, surprised the **** outta myself!
