Cheers Reds on The DU 8-31-13

Dr Mac Moore and his parents Carolyn and David made it into the Reel Inn Lodge last night. After a great night of rest and sleeping in late, we headed out around 9:15. We Found a slow bite at our first two stops. Our third stop however had the drags screaming!!! The big bronze backs were on the prowl and were hungry for our cracked crab. Bent rods and screaming reels had big smiles on my crews faces. Carolyn had the hot rod, as she had a fish on almost every-cast. Once the bite slowed we made a move to the shallows. We broke out the Matrix Shad and gold spoons and added another four reds before calling it a day. Thanks guys for a fun day.

What better way to end the day eating select crabs at Jugs and now watching LSU football back at the Lodge!!!
