Rigolets 10-23-09

Yak'em and I went down to the Rigolets yesterday around midday and gave the old fish a try. I hate to admit it but W was right about the wind it was a beast. We headed down the Rigolets out to Lake Bourne to try our luck at some specks. Got to the spot and landed a nice 3lb speck I thought the bite was on. It turns out I was wrong that was the only fish caught for the next hour or so. Headed to another spot and hooked a nice red that I lost. Caught two small reds that we tagged and released and broke off another red. Went back to the original spot trying to catch some more specks picked up another nice speck but that was it. Headed into some marsh where we picked up a 20" red we kept, lost another red and a flounder at the boat. Yak'em has all the pics in his phone I am sure he will make a post after he gets done being Mike the Tiger.

there is nothing more fun than two dudes poling way back in the marsh. wait that came out wrong......or did it?

my boat may be little but i can hit all the really tight spots. wait that came out wrong....or did it?

once we got that far in i got a little mud on my motor but once we pulled out it came right off. wait that came out wrong.....or did it?

all kidding aside you gotta love it when you can fish when you are supposed to be at work.

Yea we would still be out there if he were poling. And not have any fish if he netted them all

I used to push in circles to, till i found out that one of my moobs were hanging in the water causing drag..

One of my moobs are bigger than the other.. I entered a wet t-shirt contest, and i got 1st AND 3rd place

that is why i couldn't go any where....my moobs. catdaddy if you and i fish we will have to be on opposite sides of the boat. the moobs will act as rudders.

at least we could float. in fact i may try and argue that my moobs are a Type III flotation device. i don't need a life jacket to run my boat.

I hear ya.... If i tie a rope around my leg, I can even be considered a throwable device.. If i can find someone to throw me...
