Cheers Lacassine showing signs of life!!!!

I made a trip to Lacassine pool yesterday afternoon. It is what I expected as far a grass growth. Not surprised! The wind was up for awhile so I hit the canals. Threw a Kipps spinner bait mostly. I must have caught over 30 bass!!!! Gotcha!!! No, really!!!! They were everywhere. They were mostly 3 to four inches long!!! I did catch some in the 6 to 7 inch range also. I only had one that went 13 inches. I picked up my light rod with a yellow beetle spin. It was on then!!! I started catching bream and chickapen. I don't know how to post pics or I would post a pic of one of the bream I caught. It is huge!!!!!!!!! I mean I couldn't get my hand around it!!!! I left at dark and was very pleased with what I found!!!! It isn't what we are used to but it is a step in the right direction!!!!

Mallard are you talkin about on the east canal. If so I'd like to know just how to get there right now the canals I used to take are so grown up with lilies I don't wanna run it. I didnt know of a way to even get to the east canal other than the one that runs next to the d unit.
